Gil Bohadana Eco Music Project. Israel.

Gil Bohadana and Hagit Rosmarin from Israel. Gil is a specialist in creating magnificent percussion instruments for childrens parks.

Gil Bohadana Eco Music Project. Israel.

Gil Bohadana, and his Eco music project is truely one of the most wonderful playgrounds for children I have ever seen. His use of color married with the different sizes of the tubes in his mega xylophones is really fun for the young learner, exploring the worlds of color and sound....And where better than to find these instruments than in a childrens park. I just wish every park was honored with some of these creations as I think they are a treasure for the young mind.

Achinoam Nini/ Noa/ נועה - Ave Maria Gounod

Achi Noam, Noa, reflects for me the True face of Israel. Not only for her beautiful looks, but also for the dignity she shows in reaching out to embrace other cultures and nations in the spirit of peace, harmony, and music.
She is known internationally and this year released some wonderful tracks, in English, Hebrew, and Arabic, with Mira Awad. Magnificent vocal partnership and every other kind of partnership.
Here is Achi Noam singing Gounod's Ave Maria with lyrics in English. Just listen at the end of the song when she fuses with her yemen origin. Beautiful!

Achi Noam sings traditional Jewish Yemenite music.

Israel by Photoheaven7

I have been resident in Israel for almost 14 years now and I would like to share some of the great joys I have discovered here, both in the people, the wonderful contrasted land scapes and temperatures, the yummy food, and the amazing music.
I won't deal with politics or religion as both bore me to death, and don't reflect in anyway my experiences here.
So lets start with the amazing Achi Noam and a traditional Yemen song and singers.(see video above)
I never met people from Yemen until I came here and many of my best friends are from this origin. They are a very warm, hospitibal, honest and loyal people, blessed with long dark curly hair, and beautiful olive skin that you dont see wrinkles on until they're at least 100 years old!
I admire Achi Noam very much, not only for her beautiful voice and looks, but also for the courage she has in reaching out Internationally and universally to other cultures and traditions. She has albums in English and has worked with Sting and other major recording artists, and is truely a wonderful strong, brave and beautiful
embassador for Israel.
